KENT WHITLOCK
As part of our joint Storytelling to Build Medical Trust project, Kent Whitlock recalls being passed over for urgent care as white patients took priority, and the medical error that led to the loss of his job. He also speaks to the critical importance of doctors treating their patients as people, rather than problems that need to be solved.
Kent is a certified barber and a member of Everyday Boston’s Bridge Project who also mentors men and women in recovery.
