The Angel In The Grocery Store

“I was in the pharmacy line at the grocery store very sick with strep throat when a woman noticed I could barely stand. She was worried about me, a stranger, and offered to drive me to my house.

Once we arrived, she helped me to my doorstep. Then she went to a few nearby houses of people I hadn't met, and asked them to check on me over the next few hours and days. Two people came by several times with food, and that's how I got to know my neighbors.”
